Description
This dataset contains data on the distribution of vascular plants originally submitted to the Central database of phytosociological relevés (CDF) in Slovakia (https://cbrb.sav.sk/cdf/). The original phytosociological data (in TURBO(VEG) format) were processed and imported into the Database of the Slovak Flora and Vegetation - PLADIAS.SK (Kantor & Marhold 2024+ (eds)), which mediates publication of various vascular plant distribution datasets into GBIF.
The first version of this dataset was created with support of the project CESP 2023-005 “Unlocking Slovakia's biodiversity through data publishing“.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 908,608 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
